The pillars of One Health operationalisation

Implementation of One Health as an ecosystem approach is anchored on three One Health pillars: Systems thinking, Transdisciplinarity and Community engagement. The three pillars are operationalized through three wheels: co-creation of interventions and their implementation processes, integration of academic and local knowledge and using communities as research partners. The wheels ensure active multi-actor engagement, trust building and sustainability of outcomes while harnessing and blending local and global knowledge
